Installation Notes

- Ensure the vehicle is parked, engine off, and the interior is at room temperature before beginning work.
- Using a plastic trim removal tool, carefully prise the existing gear selector surround away from the centre console, working around the perimeter to release all factory clips without cracking the surrounding trim.
- Disconnect any wiring harnesses attached to the climate control panel before fully removing the climate control surround piece.
- Clean the exposed mounting points and surrounding surfaces with a dry microfibre cloth to remove any dust or residue.
- Align the new carbon fibre gear selector surround with the factory mounting points and press firmly until all clips engage with an audible click.
- Reconnect all wiring harnesses to the climate control unit, then align and press the carbon fibre climate control surround into position.
- Test all climate control functions and gear selector operation before considering the installation complete.
