- Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the relevant body panels are clean and cool to the touch before beginning work.
- Using a trim removal tool, carefully release the factory side vent clips along the outer edge, working from one end to avoid cracking the surrounding bodywork.
- Gently pull the existing vent panel away from the body, disconnecting any retaining tabs at the rear of the unit without forcing the fit.
- Inspect the aperture and clean any residue from the mounting points to ensure the new vent seats flush against the body surface.
- Align the forged carbon vent into the aperture, pressing evenly along the perimeter until all clips engage with a firm, audible click.
- Repeat the process on the opposite side, then step back to verify both vents sit symmetrically and flush with the surrounding bodywork.
Note: Professional installation is recommended to ensure optimal fit, finish, and to avoid any risk of damage to surrounding bodywork or trim. Clip alignment is critical — do not force the panel if resistance is felt before all tabs are correctly seated.
