Using a plastic trim removal tool, carefully prise the existing OEM side vent away from the bodywork, working around the perimeter to release each retaining clip without damaging the surrounding paintwork. Disconnect any retaining clips or fixings holding the original vent in place and set aside for reference. Note the clip positions as the new vent uses the same mounting points. Offer up the new red and black side vent to the aperture, aligning it carefully with the mounting points before applying firm, even pressure to click each clip into place.
