- Thoroughly clean each door handle recess using an isopropyl alcohol wipe or panel prep solution. Remove all grease, wax, and road film. Allow to dry completely — this is the most critical step for long-term adhesion.
- Dry-fit each trim piece before committing, holding it in position to confirm alignment and flush fit against the door panel surface.
- Peel back the adhesive tape liner on the first trim piece, aligning carefully from one end before pressing down to avoid repositioning once contact is made.
- Apply firm, even pressure across the entire face of the trim for 30–60 seconds, paying particular attention to the edges and corners.
- Repeat for all remaining trim pieces. Avoid washing the vehicle or exposing the trims to heavy rain for a minimum of 24 hours to allow the adhesive to fully cure.
⚠ Important: Do not install in temperatures below 10°C (50°F) as cold conditions significantly reduce initial adhesive bond strength. Ensure the vehicle has been indoors or in a warm environment prior to fitting.
