- Begin with the vehicle parked and all windows closed. Ensure the door panels are at room temperature — avoid installation in cold or damp conditions.
- Thoroughly clean each switch panel surface using an IPA (isopropyl alcohol) wipe or equivalent degreaser. Remove any dust, oils, or residue and allow to dry fully.
- Dry-fit each trim piece over its corresponding switch panel before peeling the adhesive backing, confirming the alignment and profile match is correct.
- Peel the protective liner from the double-sided adhesive on the first trim piece and carefully align it over the switch panel, pressing from the centre outward to avoid air bubbles.
- Apply firm, even pressure across the entire surface for 20–30 seconds to ensure full adhesive contact.
- Repeat for all remaining pieces. Allow 1–2 hours before subjecting the panels to moisture or heavy contact for maximum bond strength.
⚠ Note: Do not apply to surfaces that have been recently polished with silicone-based products, as this may reduce adhesion. If the trim piece requires repositioning, do so within the first 30 seconds before the adhesive sets. Avoid peeling aggressively — use a plastic trim tool if removal is needed to protect the underlying panel.
