- Open your Discovery 5's tailgate and clear the boot floor of any existing mats, liners, or loose items.
- Remove the new PVC trunk mat from its packaging and allow it to lay flat for a few minutes if it has been rolled or folded during transit.
- Orient the mat correctly — align the shaped edges with the contours of your Discovery 5's boot floor. The mat should sit flush on all sides without forcing or bending.
- Press the mat flat across the full boot floor area, ensuring the non-slip underside makes full contact with the factory floor surface.
- Confirm there are no lifted edges or gaps, then load your cargo as normal. The mat is immediately ready for use.
Note: This mat is designed for the boot floor area only. It is not intended to cover the side liners or the underfloor storage compartment. If your Discovery 5 has a factory rubber boot liner already fitted, remove it before installing this mat for the most secure fit.
