- Begin with a clean, dry interior. Ensure the gear panel surround surface is free from dust, grease and fingerprints — use an IPA (isopropyl alcohol) wipe for best results and allow to dry fully.
- Dry-fit the carbon fiber trim piece against the panel without removing the adhesive backing. Confirm alignment, orientation and fit before committing.
- Peel back a small section of the adhesive liner and carefully position the trim at one end of the panel, pressing firmly as you work across the surface to avoid air bubbles.
- Once fully positioned, apply firm, even pressure across the entire trim surface for 30–60 seconds to ensure a strong bond between the adhesive and the panel.
- Allow the adhesive to cure at room temperature for at least one hour before operating the gear selector or applying any stress to the surrounding area.
⚠ Note: Do not install in cold or damp conditions as this may reduce adhesive bond strength. Avoid cleaning the trim with harsh chemical solvents after installation. If you experience any fitment concerns, contact our team before proceeding.
