Installation Notes

- Disconnect the vehicle battery negative terminal before beginning any work on the dashboard electrical system.
- Remove the factory centre console trim panels carefully using plastic trim tools — avoid metal tools that may scratch surrounding surfaces.
- Unplug all factory connectors from the OEM head unit and slide the unit free from the mounting cage.
- Connect the supplied vehicle-specific wiring harness to the new unit, matching connector positions as shown in the included wiring diagram.
- Route the GPS antenna to the top of the dashboard or windscreen base for optimal signal. Route the external microphone to the A-pillar or sun visor area.
- Slide the new 12.1-inch unit into the mounting position, secure with the included hardware, and refit the fascia surround until all clips seat cleanly.
- Reconnect the battery, power on the unit, and run through the initial Android setup and CarPlay pairing process.
- Test all functions including reversing camera input (if applicable), steering wheel controls, and audio outputs before reassembling remaining trim.
Note: If your vehicle is fitted with the factory SYNC system or a factory-integrated backup camera, confirm camera wire compatibility before installation.
