- Open the bonnet and secure it in the fully raised position using the factory prop rod.
- Working from beneath the bonnet, locate the factory mounting clips securing each original vent in place.
- Carefully release the clips using a plastic trim removal tool — avoid metal tools to prevent bonnet surface damage.
- Remove the original vent panel by lifting it clear of the aperture. Retain the factory clips if they are not pre-attached to the replacement.
- Align the gloss black replacement vent into the aperture, ensuring all clip positions are correctly seated.
- Press firmly and evenly until each clip engages with a positive click. Repeat for the second vent.
- Close the bonnet and inspect both vents for flush alignment and even panel gaps before driving.
