Installation Notes

- Disconnect the vehicle battery before beginning work.
- Remove the original headlight unit by unbolting the mounting bracket (typically 3–4 bolts).
- Unplug the electrical connector from the OEM unit.
- Slide the new LED unit into the headlight aperture, ensuring the lens sits flush.
- Bolt the mounting bracket securely—do not overtighten.
- Connect the electrical harness; ensure pins are fully seated.
- Reconnect the vehicle battery.
- Test both headlights on low and high beam before closing the bonnet.
⚠️ Important: These LED units run cooler than halogen originals but produce significantly more brightness. Ensure your electrical system is in good condition before installation. If your Defender has aged wiring, consider a pre-check by a qualified auto-electrician.
