Installation Guide
Remove & Replace — 10 Minutes, No Tools Required

Open the door and locate the factory black handle on the interior panel.

Pry gently from the rear edge using a plastic trim tool (or credit card) to release the retaining clip.

Slide the old handle out of its mounting slot and disconnect any wiring (if your model has electric windows/locks).

Insert the new chrome handle into the slot, ensuring the DEFENDER lettering faces outward.

Press firmly until the retaining clip snaps into place—you'll hear a distinct click.

Reconnect any wiring and test the handle engagement.
- Repeat for the second door.
Note: These handles are designed for manual operation. If your Defender has electric door locks, the handle release mechanism remains unchanged—you are only replacing the visible grip surface.
