Installation Notes
Difficulty: Easy · Estimated Time: 20–40 Minutes · Tools Required: Trim removal tool, clean microfibre cloth
- Ensure the vehicle is parked, engine off, and the dashboard area is cool to the touch before beginning.
- Using a plastic trim removal tool, carefully prise the factory speaker cover trim away from the dashboard fascia, working from one end to the other to release the retaining clips evenly.
- Remove the OEM trim panel fully and set aside. Clean the mounting surface with a dry microfibre cloth to remove any dust or debris from the clip housing area.
- Align the new black aluminum alloy trim panel with the mounting clip positions, ensuring the panel sits flush at both ends before applying pressure.
- Firmly press the trim along its length until all clips engage audibly — you should hear a clean click at each retention point.
- Run your fingertip along the full length of the installed trim to confirm there are no raised edges or uneven gaps against the dashboard surface.
Important: This trim is designed for Left Hand Drive vehicles only. Attempting to fit this panel to a Right Hand Drive Evoque will result in an incorrect fitment. Always use a plastic trim tool — metal tools risk scratching the aluminum finish and the surrounding dashboard surfaces.
