- Clean the factory exhaust outlet thoroughly with a degreaser cloth to remove any carbon deposits, dirt, or moisture — this ensures a clean seating surface for the tip.
- Slide the stainless steel exhaust tip over the factory outlet, aligning it so the tip sits centrally and level with the rear bumper aperture.
- Once correctly positioned, tighten the included fixing screws using a screwdriver or small socket — apply firm but controlled pressure to avoid over-tightening on the exhaust pipe surface.
- Step back and verify alignment visually from directly behind the vehicle before final tightening. Adjust as needed before locking the screws in place.
- Run the engine briefly and inspect for any vibration or movement. Re-tighten if necessary after the first heat cycle.
