- Begin with a clean, dry interior. Wipe down the existing air vent surrounds using an isopropyl alcohol wipe or interior detailer to remove any dust, oils or residue that could affect adhesion.
- Allow the surface to dry fully. Do not apply the covers to a damp or recently cleaned surface — a minimum of 5 minutes drying time is recommended.
- Dry-fit each cover frame against its corresponding vent surround before removing the adhesive backing. Confirm alignment and orientation — the panels are handed (left and right), so ensure each one is correctly positioned before committing.
- Peel back a small section of the adhesive liner, align the panel carefully to the vent surround edges, and press down from the centre outward to avoid air pockets.
- Once positioned, apply firm, even pressure across the entire surface for 30–60 seconds to activate the adhesive bond. Work from the centre toward each corner.
- Repeat the process for the second panel. Leave the interior undisturbed for a minimum of 24 hours before exposing to heat or direct sunlight, to allow the adhesive to cure fully.
⚠ Important: These covers are designed exclusively for Left Hand Drive (LHD) Defender 110 and 130 L663 models. Right Hand Drive vehicles are not compatible.
