- Begin by removing the front A-pillar trim panel on the driver's side (or passenger side depending on market) to expose the mounting surface and existing intake routing.
- Disconnect the original factory air intake hose from the airbox and set aside. Do not damage any factory clips or retaining tabs — these may be reused.
- Dry-fit the snorkel body against the A-pillar to confirm alignment with the pre-drilled mounting points. Mark any panel locations requiring drilling prior to making permanent cuts.
- Carefully drill mounting holes through the A-pillar bodywork using the template or dimensions provided in the installation guide. Deburr and treat all cut edges with a rust inhibitor before proceeding.
- Secure the snorkel body to the A-pillar using the supplied brackets and fasteners. Ensure all fixings are torqued to specification — do not over-tighten against the LLDPE body.
- Route the intake connector hose from the base of the snorkel body down to the airbox inlet. Secure with the supplied stainless clamps, ensuring the connection is fully sealed with no air gaps.
- Attach the air ram intake head to the top of the snorkel tube, orienting the drainage outlets rearward and downward as directed. Confirm the head rotates and locks securely.
- Refit all trim panels, start the engine, and check for abnormal intake noise or airflow restriction. Inspect all clamp points for security before driving.
