Installation Notes

Difficulty: Easy | Time: 15–20 minutes

  1. Clean the exhaust area. Use a microfiber cloth and mild soap to remove dirt, grease, and residue. Ensure the surface is completely dry.
  2. Heat the adhesive. Apply gentle heat (using a heat gun on low setting, 30–40°C) to the adhesive backing for 2–3 minutes until it becomes tacky.
  3. Position the trim. Carefully align the left trim first, centering it over your exhaust outlet. Press firmly for 10–15 seconds.
  4. Repeat for the right side. Install the right trim using the same method, ensuring both trims sit symmetrically.
  5. Allow to cure. Let the adhesive set for a full 24 hours before driving. Avoid washing your vehicle during this period.
  6. Check alignment. Once cured, ensure both trims sit flush and evenly spaced. Minor adjustments can be made by gently lifting and repositioning if needed (within the first 2 hours).
Important: Do not expose the vehicle to extreme heat or heavy water pressure for 48 hours after installation. This allows the adhesive to fully cure and bond permanently.
