- Park your Evoque on a flat surface and ensure the steering wheel is centred and the ignition is off. Allow the cabin to reach ambient temperature before beginning.
- Clean the existing steering wheel trim frame thoroughly using an isopropyl alcohol wipe. Remove any dust, oils, or residue and allow it to dry completely — this is critical for adhesive bond strength.
- Dry-fit the carbon fibre surround frame over your steering wheel housing to confirm alignment and fitment before committing to adhesive. Note any adjustment needed.
- Peel the backing from the pre-applied adhesive strips on the carbon frame. Align carefully from the top centre of the steering wheel frame downward, pressing firmly as you work around the surround.
- Apply firm, even pressure across the entire frame for approximately 60 seconds to activate the adhesive bond. Pay particular attention to the edges and corners.
- Allow 30–60 minutes of cure time before regular use. Avoid aggressive steering input or cleaning for the first 24 hours to allow full adhesion.
⚠ Important: Do not attempt to fit this product while the steering wheel airbag is active or with the engine running. If your vehicle has a heated steering wheel, ensure the heat function is off during installation and for the first 24 hours. Fitting on a cold or damp surface will reduce adhesive performance.
