- Begin with the engine off and the cabin at room temperature. Ensure the centre console surface is clean, dry, and free from dust or grease.
- Use a microfibre cloth and a small amount of isopropyl alcohol to wipe down the target area around the AC mode buttons. Allow to dry fully before proceeding.
- Test-fit the trim piece without removing the adhesive backing to confirm alignment with the button frame and panel edges.
- Once satisfied with the positioning, peel the protective film from the adhesive tape on the reverse of the trim piece.
- Carefully press the trim into position, applying firm, even pressure across the entire surface for 30–60 seconds to activate the adhesive bond.
- Avoid using the climate controls and keep the area dry for a minimum of 72 hours to allow the adhesive to cure fully.
