- If the original door uses retention clips, check whether these are reusable or whether new clips are included with your replacement unit.
- Align the new ABS storage box door with the hinge slots or clip points on the centre console aperture — ensure even seating on both sides before pressing home.
- Apply firm, even pressure until the unit clicks securely into position. Test the open and close action several times to confirm smooth, rattle-free operation.
- Inspect the fitment gap around the perimeter of the lid — it should sit flush and consistent with the surrounding console trim on all sides.
