- Open the rear doors and locate the child lock button surround on each door panel.
- Clean the surface thoroughly using an isopropyl alcohol wipe and allow to dry completely — this is critical for adhesion strength.
- Peel the protective backing from the adhesive on the first trim piece.
- Align the trim carefully over the child lock button surround before making contact — once pressed, repositioning is difficult.
- Apply firm, even pressure across the full surface of the trim for 30–60 seconds.
- Repeat for all four rear doors. Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to fully cure before heavy use.
