Installation Notes

- Thoroughly clean both headlamp housings with an isopropyl alcohol wipe to remove all dust, wax, grease and residue. Any contamination beneath the film will cause lifting.
- Work in a warm, dust-free environment — an indoor garage is ideal. Cold temperatures reduce film flexibility and adhesion quality.
- Lightly mist the headlamp surface with a slip solution (a few drops of baby shampoo in water works well) to allow repositioning during initial placement.
- Carefully peel the film from its backing and align it to the headlamp housing, starting from the centre and working outward.
- Use the included squeegee to push out air bubbles and excess slip solution from the centre towards the edges using firm, overlapping strokes.
- Carefully tuck and smooth all edges, ensuring full contact around curves and contours of the Velar headlamp profile.
- Allow the film to cure undisturbed for 24–48 hours before washing the vehicle or exposing the surface to standing water.
