- Park your Evoque in a clean, dry environment at room temperature. Cold or damp conditions can reduce initial adhesive strength.
- Use the included cleaning wipe (or isopropyl alcohol) to thoroughly degrease the factory window controls surround on the door panel. Allow to dry completely — at least 60 seconds.
- Dry-fit the carbon fibre frame over the factory panel to confirm alignment before committing. Note the orientation and any cutouts around buttons or controls.
- Peel back a small section of the adhesive backing and carefully align the trim piece to the top or one edge of the factory surround before pressing down progressively across the surface.
- Apply firm, even pressure across the entire panel for 30–60 seconds to fully activate the adhesive bond — use the heel of your hand rather than fingers to avoid uneven pressure points.
- Allow 24 hours before washing the vehicle or exposing the trim to prolonged moisture, giving the adhesive time to fully cure.
Note: If your Evoque has an aftermarket door panel, a previous adhesive residue, or a textured fabric insert around the controls area, surface adhesion may vary. Clean thoroughly and consider a small patch test before full application. For late 2017 or 2018 facelift Evoque models, please confirm your door panel style matches the pre-facelift design prior to ordering.
