Installation Notes

- Open the tailgate fully and carefully remove the existing trim panel from the inside of the boot lid to access the rear lighting cavity.
- Locate and disconnect the factory tail light wiring connectors on both sides of the tailgate.
- Position the new full-width LED strip unit across the tailgate, aligning the mounting points with the factory apertures.
- Secure the unit using the supplied clips and fasteners — no drilling required. Confirm the strip sits flush and level across the full width.
- Connect the wiring harness to the existing factory connectors on both sides. Connectors are designed for direct plug-in; no splicing or soldering needed.
- Route any excess cabling neatly behind the trim panel and refit the trim, pressing firmly until all clips engage.
- Test all functions — tail light, brake light, and turn signals — before closing the tailgate and completing the installation.
⚠ Note: Ensure the vehicle ignition is off and the tailgate wiring is fully disconnected before beginning installation. Take care when removing trim clips to avoid cracking the panel — a trim removal tool is recommended. If in doubt, have this fitted by a qualified automotive technician.
