Installation Notes

Safety First: Allow the engine to cool fully. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Drain or Clamp: Place a drain pan below the hose. Loosen the radiator cap to relieve pressure, then carefully disconnect the old hose from the expansion tank and radiator connection points.

Remove Old Hose: Slide off any retaining clips or clamps. Note the routing path for reinstallation.

Install New Hose: Route the new hose along the same path. Reconnect to both the expansion tank inlet and radiator outlet, ensuring clips are seated firmly.

Tighten Clamps: Secure all hose clamps; do not over-tighten (risk of crushing the hose).

Refill Coolant: Top up the expansion tank with the correct coolant blend for your model. Run the engine at idle for 2–3 minutes to purge air pockets.

Check for Leaks: Inspect all connection points while the engine runs. Top up if needed once cooled.

Reconnect Battery: Restore the negative terminal and clear any fault codes using a diagnostic tool if needed.
