Installation Notes

- Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface with the engine off and keys removed. Allow the front end to cool if recently driven.
- Open the bonnet and locate the upper grille retaining clips running along the top edge of the front fascia. Gently release each clip using a trim removal tool, working from the centre outward.
- Carefully unclip the lower grille retention tabs from the bumper beam. These are push-fit clips — avoid forcing them to prevent damage to the bumper surround.
- Disconnect any wiring connectors associated with ambient lighting, sensors, or camera modules if fitted to the grille surround. Label connectors before removal.
- With all clips and connectors released, remove the original grille by pulling forward and upward. Set aside on a clean, protected surface.
- Align the new Shadow Atlas grille into position, ensuring all locating tabs are correctly seated before pressing the upper clips back into place.
- Reconnect all wiring connectors in reverse order, confirming each one clicks firmly into place. Close the bonnet and inspect all panel gaps for uniform alignment.
- Start the vehicle and verify that parking sensors, cameras, and any grille-mounted systems are functioning correctly before driving.
⚠ Important: If your L460 is fitted with a front-mounted camera embedded in the grille surround, we recommend having wiring reconnection checked by a qualified technician. Incorrectly seated sensor connectors may trigger ADAS warnings or disable safety-critical systems.
