Installation
Difficulty: Beginner | Time: 20 minutes
- Park vehicle on a level surface and engage handbrake. Allow tailgate to cool if recently driven.
- Using the included prep cloth, thoroughly clean the tailgate surface where the strip will sit. Remove all dirt, wax, and residue.
- Dry completely with a clean microfibre cloth. Any moisture will compromise adhesive bond.
- Peel backing from one end of the adhesive strip and position it carefully on the tailgate. Press firmly at one point to anchor.
- Slowly peel the remaining backing while pressing the strip down with steady, even pressure to avoid air bubbles.
- Once fully adhered, allow 24 hours before washing or exposing to rain. Adhesive requires full cure.
Important: Surface temperature should be between 15–25°C for optimal adhesive performance. Do not install in direct sunlight or extreme cold.
