Overview
If you're driving a Land Rover Discovery, Range Rover Sport, or Jaguar powered by the TDV6 diesel engine, an exhaust manifold gasket failure means heat and exhaust leaks—and potential damage to surrounding components. This OEM-spec gasket pair (Partsmost C2S30281 / 1336543) restores a perfect seal between the manifold and cylinder head on 2.7L and 3.0L V6 diesel powerplants, eliminating rough idle, visible smoke, and thermal stress.
Engineered to original Land Rover and Jaguar specifications, each gasket is manufactured to withstand the extreme temperatures and pressure cycling of diesel exhaust. Installation is straightforward for experienced DIY technicians and professional shops alike. You get two gaskets in a single box—essential for a complete, balanced repair.
Backed by Victorious Automotive's 30-day money-back guarantee and worldwide shipping via DHL, FedEx, and UPS, this is the gasket set trusted by Land Rover and Range Rover owners who refuse to compromise on engine integrity.

Installation Notes
Difficulty Level: Intermediate
Estimated Time: 1.5–2.5 hours (manifold access varies by model)
-
Remove heat shield and exhaust manifold bolts – Work on a cool engine. Unbolt the exhaust manifold from the cylinder head using a 13mm socket and appropriate extensions.
-
Separate manifold from head – Gently tap the manifold with a plastic mallet to break the old gasket seal. Remove it completely.
-
Clean gasket surfaces – Scrape away all old gasket material from both the manifold and cylinder head with a gasket scraper. Use degreaser to remove oils and carbon deposits.
-
Position new gasket – Place the new Partsmost gasket on the cylinder head, aligning bolt holes with studs. Do not use sealant—gaskets are pre-coated.
-
Reinstall manifold – Carefully lower the manifold and hand-tighten all bolts first. Torque in a star pattern to 23–28 Nm (17–20 ft-lbf) per OEM spec.
-
Reattach heat shield and exhaust – Bolt the heat shield and exhaust downpipe to the manifold. Check for leaks after starting.
-
Test and verify – Run the engine at idle and 2,000 rpm for 5 minutes. Listen for exhaust hisses or visible leaks at the gasket interface.
Critical Note: Always torque gasket fasteners in a cross (star) pattern on a cold engine. Uneven fastening will cause premature gasket failure. If installing on a Range Rover Sport or Velar, be aware that manifold removal may require partial removal of the intake manifold or auxiliary components—consult your workshop manual.
