- Park the vehicle on a flat surface and ensure the front bumper area is cool to the touch before beginning.
- Thoroughly clean the fog lamp surround areas with an isopropyl alcohol-based surface prep wipe and allow to dry completely — any residual wax, grease, or moisture will reduce adhesive bond strength.
- Dry-fit each trim piece into position without removing the adhesive backing to confirm alignment and seating before final application.
- Peel the 3M adhesive liner from the first trim, carefully align with the fog lamp aperture, and press firmly into place for a minimum of 60 seconds per piece.
- Repeat for all four trims, working methodically from one side to the other.
- Allow a minimum of 24 hours before washing the vehicle to allow the adhesive to fully cure and bond.
⚠ Cold Weather Note: If installing in temperatures below 10°C, gently warm the 3M adhesive backing with a heat gun or hair dryer on a low setting for 10–15 seconds before application.
