- Thoroughly clean all side window frame surfaces using an isopropyl alcohol (IPA) wipe or equivalent. Remove all dirt, wax, polish residue and moisture before proceeding — adhesion quality depends entirely on surface preparation.
- Allow surfaces to dry completely. In cooler ambient temperatures (below 15°C / 59°F), warm the window frame area gently with a heat gun or hair dryer for 60–90 seconds to improve adhesive bond strength.
- Dry-fit each strip against its corresponding window aperture before committing. Confirm alignment and positioning carefully — the adhesive bonds on first contact.
- Peel back the protective adhesive liner from the first strip. Starting from one end, press firmly along the full length of the strip, working out any air from the centre outward to the edges.
- Apply firm, sustained pressure across the entire strip for 30–60 seconds to fully seat the adhesive bond. Repeat for all remaining pieces.
- Remove any protective surface film from the chrome face of each strip once all pieces are fitted.
⚠ Important: Do not wash the vehicle or expose it to heavy rain for a minimum of 48 hours following installation. This allows the adhesive to cure fully and achieve maximum bond strength. Avoid using pressure washers directly against the strip edges long-term.
