Installation Notes
Difficulty: Easy · Estimated Time: 10–15 minutes · Tools Required: None
- With the vehicle parked and cabin at room temperature, locate the rear air conditioning vent surround between the rear passenger seats.
- Use the included cleaning wipe to thoroughly degrease the surface of the existing vent trim. Allow to dry completely — approximately 2–3 minutes.
- Test-fit the carbon fibre cover dry (without removing the adhesive backing) to confirm alignment and positioning before committing.
- Peel back the 3M adhesive liner approximately halfway. Align the top edge of the cover carefully with the vent surround and press firmly downward.
- Once positioned correctly, remove the remaining adhesive liner and apply firm, even pressure across the entire surface for 30–60 seconds.
- Allow the adhesive to cure for a minimum of 24 hours before cleaning or exposing to moisture for best long-term bonding strength.
⚠ Note: Do not apply in temperatures below 10°C (50°F) as this significantly reduces adhesive bonding strength. If fitting in winter, allow the vehicle cabin to warm fully before installation. Do not attempt to remove and reposition once the adhesive has made full contact with the trim surface.
