Installation

Prepare the vehicle: Park on a level surface, engage parking brake, and allow engine to cool. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Lift and support: Use a jack and axle stands to safely elevate the vehicle. Remove the right front wheel and any under-tray fasteners obscuring the mount.

Remove old mount: Unbolt the worn torque strut assembly from the engine block and chassis mounting points. Note the orientation of damping elements and any shims.

Install new assembly: Position the new mount, align bolt holes, and hand-tighten fasteners. Ensure the damping element faces downward and all brackets seat flush.

Torque fasteners: Tighten engine block bolts to 65–75 Nm; chassis bolts to 45–55 Nm. Do not over-torque rubber mounting points.

Verify alignment: Check that the engine sits level in all planes and that the mount exhibits no visible twist or binding.

Reassemble: Reinstall under-tray, wheel, and battery terminal. Lower vehicle and test-start. Listen for any residual clunk during gentle acceleration.
