- Start with the vehicle parked, ignition off, and the interior at room temperature. Cold adhesive bonds less effectively — allow a cold vehicle to warm up for a few minutes if needed.
- Use the included prep wipe to thoroughly clean the existing headlight switch panel surround. Remove any dust, fingerprints, or polish residue and allow to dry completely.
- Hold the decoration frame up to the panel without removing the adhesive backing to confirm alignment and fitment before committing.
- Peel back the adhesive liner, position the frame carefully over the panel surround, and press firmly from the centre outward — avoid air pockets by working systematically.
- Apply steady pressure across the entire surface for 30–60 seconds to ensure full adhesion. Allow 24 hours before exposing to sustained heat or moisture.
Note: Ensure the panel surface is fully dry and free from any wax, silicone spray, or interior dressing before applying. Products like Armor All or similar can significantly reduce adhesive bond strength. If in doubt, wipe with isopropyl alcohol before installation.
