Disconnect battery negative terminal and allow engine to cool completely (minimum 30 minutes after last run).

Remove air intake ducting and disconnect any hoses or wiring from the intake manifold assembly.

Unbolt upper intake manifold (typically 6–8 bolts) and carefully lift away. Inspect condition of upper gasket and note bolt torque sequence for reassembly.

Inspect lower manifold gaskets (right and left sides) for deterioration or weeping. Mark bolt positions if removing both simultaneously to avoid confusion.

Remove lower gasket bolts and carefully extract old gaskets. Clean all sealing surfaces with gasket scraper and degreaser; do not gouge aluminum surfaces.

Install new lower gaskets (RH and LH) and hand-tighten bolts in a crisscross pattern to ensure even seating.

Position upper gasket on cylinder head and re-install upper intake manifold bolts. Torque to OEM spec (typically 15–18 Nm, then an additional 90° rotation).

Reconnect all vacuum lines, coolant hoses, and wiring in reverse order of removal. Double-check all connectors are fully seated.

Refill coolant reservoir to proper level and bleed any air pockets by running engine at low idle for 5–10 minutes.

Road-test vehicle at varying engine speeds to confirm smooth idle, no vacuum leaks, and no coolant weeping.
