Installation Notes

- Ensure all interior lights are switched off before beginning. Factory incandescent bulbs retain heat — allow a few minutes to cool before handling if recently used.
- Use the included pry tool to carefully remove the lens cover of each light fitting. Work gently around the edges to avoid scratching the surround.
- Extract the original bulb from its socket. Note the orientation and bulb type before removal to make reinsertion of the LED straightforward.
- Insert the replacement LED bulb into the same socket. Most are festoon-type; ensure the metal end caps are seated firmly in the spring clips.
- If the bulb feels slightly loose in the socket, gently pinch the metal pin clips slightly closer together to create a more secure, tighter grip on the festoon.
- Switch the light on to test before refitting the lens cover. If the bulb does not illuminate, rotate it 180° — LEDs are polarity-sensitive unlike incandescent bulbs.
- Once confirmed working, refit the lens cover and move to the next position. Repeat across all locations in the kit.
⚠ Note: Always verify your F-150's model year before selecting a kit. If you are unsure which generation your truck falls into, cross-reference via your VIN or consult your owner's manual. Installing a mismatched kit will result in incorrect bulb types for certain positions.
