433MHz OEM Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor – VDO S180052080Z

Direct-fit TPMS sensor for Range Rover, Discovery, and Evoque models—VDO quality, genuine fitment, 12-month warranty.

433MHz Frequency OEM VDO 2002–2015+ Direct Fit 5V Operating Land Rover Native

Overview

If your Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Discovery, or Range Rover Evoque has thrown a TPMS warning or lost sensor signal, this OEM VDO 433MHz tire pressure sensor is the direct-fit replacement your vehicle was engineered for. Factory part numbers span L018858 through L086928—covering 2002–2015+ across the entire Land Rover luxury lineup.

Unlike universal sensors that require recalibration or workarounds, this genuine VDO unit syncs immediately with your vehicle's TPMS module. It operates at 5V, transmits on the 433MHz band your vehicle listens for, and carries a full 12-month warranty. Whether you've lost one sensor or need a pair, we stock both single and dual configurations.

Commonly used on Range Rover (2002–2011, 2013+), Range Rover Sport (2005–2013, 2014+), Discovery 3/4 (2005–2011), Range Rover Evoque (2012–2015+), and Discovery Sport (2015+). Confirm your vehicle's original sensor frequency (433MHz) before ordering.

Installation Notes

Difficulty: Intermediate | Time: 30–45 minutes per wheel

  1. Remove wheel. Unscrew the tyre from the rim using a tyre machine or professional shop.
  2. Locate old sensor. The TPMS sensor sits inside the tyre, attached to the valve stem assembly. Note the orientation.
  3. Disconnect sensor. Unscrew or unclip the sensor from the rubber grommet. Dispose responsibly.
  4. Install new sensor. Insert the new VDO unit into the same grommet. Align the sensor body perpendicular to the tyre wall for clearance.
  5. Rebalance tyre. Mount and balance the tyre to factory specs. Correct balance is critical for sensor longevity.
  6. Reinstall wheel. Torque lug nuts to 110 Nm (81 ft-lb) on Range Rover; 100 Nm on Discovery and Evoque.
  7. Sync sensor. Drive the vehicle at speeds above 25 mph for 5–10 minutes. Your vehicle will automatically detect and register the new sensor.
  8. Clear warning. If the TPMS light persists, visit a Land Rover dealer or TPMS specialist to manually register the sensor ID to your vehicle.
⚠ Important: Tyre removal requires specialist equipment. We strongly recommend professional fitting at a Land Rover-trained garage or local tyre shop. Improper installation can damage the sensor or tyre. Do not over-torque the sensor screw; hand-tight plus a quarter turn is sufficient.
