Drain coolant – Open radiator drain plug and catch fluid in a approved container. Do not dispose down drains.

Locate hose clamps – Identify failing hoses by visual inspection. Take a photo of the original routing for reference.

Release clamps – Use a flathead screwdriver or hose clamp tool to loosen band clamps. Rotate hose gently to break seal.

Remove old hose – Carefully extract and inspect coupling points for corrosion or debris. Clean inlet/outlet with a lint-free cloth.

Install new hose – Align pre-formed bends to match original geometry. Reuse OEM clamps if undamaged; replace if corroded.

Refill coolant – Use approved 50/50 coolant mix (not tap water). Bleed air from system by running engine to operating temperature with heater on.

Check for leaks – Inspect all coupling points and clamp zones under idling and light acceleration. Top up reservoir if needed.
