Installation Notes
Difficulty: Beginner–Intermediate · Estimated Time: 30–60 Minutes · Tools Required: Trim removal tool, T20 Torx screwdriver
- Ensure the vehicle is switched off and keys are removed before beginning any work inside the cabin.
- Using a trim removal tool, carefully prise out the factory climate control panel from the centre console surround, working around the edges to release the retaining clips without damaging the trim.
- Disconnect the OEM wiring harness from the back of the factory climate dial unit by pressing the tab and pulling the connector free.
- Remove the factory rotary dial unit fully and set aside. Retain any mounting screws for reuse if required.
- Connect the included wiring harness adapter to the vehicle's existing connector — it is keyed to prevent incorrect fitment.
- Connect the opposite end of the adapter to the new LCD climate control panel.
- Seat the LCD panel into the dashboard aperture and press firmly until all retaining clips engage securely.
- Switch on the vehicle and verify that all climate functions — temperature, fan speed, AC, heated seats and defrost — are operating correctly via the new touchscreen.
