- Ensure the existing rear cup holder surround is clean, dry, and free from dust or grease. Use an alcohol wipe or IPA solution for best adhesion.
- Test-fit the trim piece over the cup holder surround without removing the 3M backing to confirm alignment and orientation.
- Once satisfied with positioning, peel the protective film from the 3M adhesive backing on the reverse of the trim piece.
- Carefully align the trim piece over the cup holder surround and press firmly into place, applying consistent pressure across the full surface for 30–60 seconds.
- Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to fully cure before subjecting the trim to heavy use or cleaning.
⚠ Note: Avoid fitting in cold temperatures below 10°C as this may reduce initial adhesive effectiveness. Do not use silicone-based cleaners on or near the trim as these can compromise the bond over time.
