Installation Notes
⏱ Estimated Time: 10–15 Minutes | Difficulty: Beginner
- Ensure the vehicle interior is at room temperature — cold surfaces can reduce adhesive performance. Avoid installation below 10°C.
- Clean each knob base thoroughly using an isopropyl alcohol wipe. Remove any dust, oils, or residue from around the knob collar and allow to dry completely.
- Dry-fit each ring trim to confirm orientation and alignment before committing. The trims are shaped to sit flush — test the fit without removing the adhesive backing first.
- Peel the protective backing from one trim at a time. Position carefully over the knob base and press firmly from the centre outward for 30–60 seconds.
- Repeat for all three trims. Allow the adhesive to cure for at least one hour before subjecting the trims to heat from the climate system.
⚠ Note: Do not apply excessive rotational force directly to the trim rings — they are decorative overlays, not structural components. If a trim lifts at the edges after installation, reapply with a trim-safe adhesive promoter for a more permanent bond.
