Installation Notes
🔧 Difficulty: Beginner–Intermediate · Estimated Time: 45–75 Minutes · Tools Required: Trim removal tool, flathead screwdriver, clean cloth
- Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat, stable surface with the engine off and cooled down. Open the bonnet for easier access to upper grille mounting points.
- Using a plastic trim removal tool, carefully unclip the factory grille from the front bumper assembly. Work from one edge inward to avoid cracking the surround — do not force any clips.
- Disconnect any wiring if applicable (e.g. sensors or camera harnesses routed behind the grille). Note the connector positions before removal.
- Remove any badges or emblems from the original grille that you wish to transfer. Set them aside in a safe location.
- Align the new mesh grille with the factory mounting points. Press firmly and evenly along each clip until you hear and feel it seat fully — check each point twice.
- Reattach any wiring connectors that were disconnected in Step 3. Ensure no cables are pinched or tensioned behind the grille.
- Refit any badges you wish to carry over. Step back and visually confirm panel alignment with the bumper and bonnet line before closing the bonnet.
⚠ Important: The front badge is not included with this grille. If your original badge uses adhesive backing, it may not transfer cleanly — have a suitable adhesive promoter available. If you are not confident with trim removal, we recommend having the grille fitted by a detailer or bodyshop to protect surrounding panels.
