Installation Notes
Difficulty Level: Intermediate | Time: 45–90 minutes

Preparation: Allow engine to cool completely. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Position drain pan under the thermostat housing.

Drain Coolant: Open the coolant system drain plug and collect old fluid safely. Partially drain to below housing level.

Remove Old Housing: Unbolt the housing fasteners and carefully disconnect hoses. Note hose positions for reassembly.

Install New Assembly: Position new housing, apply fresh gasket sealant per instructions, and torque fasteners to specification.

Reconnect Coolant Lines: Reattach hoses in original positions. Double-check all connections for tightness.

Refill & Bleed: Add fresh coolant (Land Rover OEM specification), start engine, and run through heating cycle. Bleed air pockets.
