Clean the surface: Thoroughly clean the bonnet vent area using an isopropyl alcohol wipe or panel wipe solution. Remove all grease, wax, and residue, then allow to dry completely for a minimum of 5 minutes.

Test fit before committing: Hold each trim piece in position over the corresponding vent outlet without removing the adhesive backing. Confirm alignment and orientation before proceeding.

Warm the adhesive: In cooler weather, gently warm the adhesive backing with a heat gun or hairdryer on a low setting for 10–15 seconds. This improves initial bond strength significantly.

Peel and position: Remove the adhesive backing from one trim piece, carefully align it to the vent outlet, and press firmly into place starting from the centre outward to eliminate air pockets.

Apply firm pressure: Hold firm, even pressure across the entire trim surface for at least 30 seconds per piece to ensure full adhesive contact.

Repeat for the second trim: Follow the same process for the opposite side, ensuring symmetrical placement.

Cure time: Allow 24 hours before washing the vehicle or exposing the trim to heavy rain to allow the adhesive bond to fully cure.
⚠ Note: Do not attempt installation in temperatures below 10°C without pre-warming the adhesive. Cold conditions significantly reduce initial adhesion and may result in the trim lifting at the edges. Ensure the bonnet surface is completely dry before application.
