Overview
The turbocharger inlet oil pipe on 2.0T petrol models is a critical circulation line that delivers pressurised engine oil to the turbo bearing assembly. Over time, carbon buildup, thermal degradation, and vibration fatigue can restrict flow or cause leaks, compromising turbo efficiency and engine performance.
This Partsmost replacement uses OEM construction—seamless aluminium tubing with precision-engineered rubber dampers—to restore proper oil delivery and turbo cooling. It fits directly into the existing mounting points and sensor bosses without modification, making it ideal for preventative maintenance or symptomatic repair.
Engineered to Land Rover and Jaguar specifications, this pipe maintains safe operating temperatures and prevents costly turbo bearing damage that can spiral into full engine rebuilds if ignored.

Installation Notes
Difficulty: Intermediate | Time: 45–90 minutes
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent accidental fuel pump activation.
- Raise and secure the vehicle on jack stands. Remove undertray panels for access to turbo housing.
- Locate the existing oil line connected to the turbo inlet and turbo outlet ports on the cylinder block.
- Place an oil catch tray beneath the banjo fittings. Unscrew M16 banjo bolts with a 22mm spanner; allow residual oil to drain.
- Remove the old line. Discard crush washers on both banjo fittings.
- Install new crush washers onto the replacement pipe's banjo bolts (included in fitment kit).
- Insert banjo fittings into turbo and block ports. Torque to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft) in a cross pattern to avoid sealing distortion.
- Check for oil weeping around fittings while the engine idles (do not run above 2,000 rpm). Tighten slightly if needed.
- Allow engine to cool. Verify no drips after 20 minutes at rest.
- Refit undertray, lower vehicle, and reconnect battery.
- Run engine at 3,000 rpm for 3 minutes and recheck all joints. Top up engine oil as needed.
⚠ Warning: Do not reuse old crush washers—they compress permanently and will not seal properly. A weak seal leads to oil starvation and immediate turbo bearing failure. Always fit new washers with every installation. Do not overtighten banjo bolts; this crushes the fitting and damages the seal.
