Overview
Your Land Rover's tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensors are critical safety components that alert you to under-inflated or over-inflated tires. Over time, sensors can fail due to battery depletion, corrosion, or impact damage. This OEM-specification 433MHz sensor replaces failed units and restores real-time pressure monitoring across Freelander 2 (LR2), Range Rover Vogue and Sport, Discovery 3 & 4, Range Rover Evoque, Discovery Sport, Discovery 5, Range Rover Velar, and Defender models.
This Partsmost-branded replacement maintains factory specifications: 5V operating voltage, 433MHz wireless frequency, and the same dimensions and connector compatibility as original Land Rover components. Each sensor arrives new in sealed packaging with a 12-month warranty and is ready for direct installation—no calibration tools required on most platforms.
Whether you're replacing a single failed sensor or refreshing the complete set, this part delivers the reliability and precision your vehicle's TPMS system demands. Pair with a full set replacement for maximum longevity and consistent pressure monitoring across all four wheels.

Installation Notes
Difficulty Level: Moderate | Time: 15–30 minutes per sensor
-
Locate the sensor: Remove the wheel. The TPMS sensor is mounted on the inside of the wheel rim, attached to the tire valve stem or wheel assembly.
-
Disconnect the old sensor: Depending on model year, either unscrew the sensor from the valve stem or unbolt it from the wheel. Refer to your service manual for your specific model.
-
Install the new sensor: Align the connector and thread or bolt the new 433MHz sensor into position. Ensure the seal is tight to prevent air leaks.
-
Verify alignment: Check that the sensor is secure and does not interfere with tire sidewall or wheel balance.
-
Reinstall the wheel: Mount the wheel and torque to factory specification (typically 90–100 Nm for Land Rover vehicles).
-
Rebalance if necessary: Tire shops may rebalance wheels after sensor replacement to ensure smooth operation.
-
Clear TPMS fault codes: Some vehicles require you to navigate the instrument cluster menu to reset sensor pairings. Your vehicle may auto-detect within a few kilometers of driving.
⚠️ Important: Do not force the sensor connection. If the connector or valve stem feels stuck, consult a Land Rover specialist to avoid damage. Refitting all four sensors simultaneously ensures balanced pressure monitoring. If replacing only one or two sensors, ensure remaining sensors are also in good condition—mixing old and new units can cause inconsistent TPMS readings.
Ready to Restore Tire Pressure Monitoring?
Don't ignore TPMS warnings. Faulty sensors compromise safety, fuel economy, and tire lifespan. Replace with OEM-specification parts and drive with confidence.
