- Park your vehicle on a flat surface and switch off the ignition. Allow the interior to reach ambient temperature before beginning.
- Thoroughly clean the existing steering wheel surround area using an isopropyl alcohol wipe. Remove all dust, oils, and residue to ensure maximum adhesive bond strength.
- Dry-fit the trim piece first without removing the adhesive backing — check alignment and panel positioning before committing.
- Peel the backing from the adhesive tape. Align the trim carefully with the steering column surround, working from the centre outward.
- Apply firm, even pressure across the entire surface for 30–60 seconds to activate the adhesive bond fully.
- Allow a minimum of 24 hours before exposing the trim to extreme temperatures or heavy use, to allow the adhesive to cure fully.
⚠ Important: This trim fits around the steering column surround — not the steering wheel itself. It does not interfere with the airbag system. However, if you have any concerns about proximity to airbag components, professional installation is recommended. Always confirm exact compatibility with your vehicle's build date and specification before fitting.
