Installation Notes

- Disconnect the vehicle battery and allow the electrical system to discharge for at least 10 minutes before beginning work.
- Remove the factory centre console trim panels using appropriate trim removal tools to avoid scratching the surrounding fascia.
- Extract the original head unit by releasing the retaining clips or bolts — refer to your specific model's workshop manual for torque specifications.
- Connect the supplied vehicle-specific wiring harness to the new unit, matching colour-coded connectors. Attach the GPS antenna to a clear line-of-sight position on the dashboard.
- Route the external microphone to a discreet position near the driver's sun visor or A-pillar for optimal call quality.
- Slot the new head unit into the DIN cage, secure with the provided hardware, and reattach all trim panels.
- Reconnect the battery, power on the unit, and follow the on-screen setup wizard to configure language, GPS region, and CarPlay/Android Auto pairing.
- Verify steering wheel control functions via the CAN-Bus settings menu and calibrate if required.
Important: This unit is slightly larger than the original factory head unit. Ensure adequate clearance behind the dashboard before final fitment. Professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with automotive wiring or trim removal on Land Rover vehicles.
