Installation Notes
Difficulty: Beginner–Intermediate · Estimated Time: 45–90 Minutes · Tools Required: Trim removal tools, screwdriver set
- Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface with the engine off and fully cooled before beginning work.
- Using trim removal tools, carefully disengage the front bumper clips and release the upper grille surround from the lower bumper assembly.
- Locate and remove all OEM grille retaining screws or push-pin fasteners — typically found along the top edge and lower mounting points.
- With a second pair of hands, gently pull the factory grille forward and away from the bumper opening, disconnecting any ambient sensor or camera wiring harness clips if present.
- Offer up the new carbon fibre grille into the aperture and confirm the mounting points align correctly before pressing into position.
- Reattach all mounting hardware, reconnect any wiring harnesses, and press the surround back into place until all clips seat firmly.
- Step back and visually inspect alignment from 3–4 metres. Minor adjustments can be made before final tightening.
⚠ Note: If your Evoque is fitted with a front-facing camera or parking sensors integrated into the grille area, ensure all connectors are fully reseated before driving.
