Installation Notes
Difficulty: Beginner to Intermediate
Estimated time: 30–45 minutes
- Disconnect the vehicle's battery negative terminal
- Remove lower steering column panel by unclipping retainers
- Gently lever out existing button module using provided tool
- Unplug OEM connector from rear of module
- Plug new dynamic button module into OEM connector (keyed fit—one orientation only)
- Align mounting holes and secure with provided hardware
- Press panel trim back into position until all clips engage
- Reconnect battery and test all button functions
⚠️ Important: Do not force the connector. A properly keyed connection will slide smoothly. If resistance is felt, stop and recheck orientation. Forcing can damage wiring. When in doubt, contact support before proceeding.
