Installation Notes

- Park the Defender on a flat, level surface and ensure the engine is switched off and cool before beginning work.
- Carefully remove the existing factory front bumper by releasing the retaining clips and unfastening the mounting bolts at each bumper end and along the lower fascia.
- Disconnect any parking sensor harnesses or camera connectors attached to the factory bumper — label each connector to ensure correct reassembly.
- If fitting the Enhanced Capstan Kit, position the winch reinforcement frame behind the new bumper aperture and secure using the supplied hardware before fitting the outer bumper skin.
- Align the new front bumper to the factory mounting points, ensuring the panel gaps are even on both sides before tightening any fasteners.
- Reconnect all sensor and camera harnesses, then test all parking sensors and any front-facing cameras via the Defender's infotainment system before completing fitment.
- Torque all bolts to specification per the installation guide, then carry out a final visual inspection before driving.
⚠ Important: The winch/capstan unit itself is not included with this kit. To use the capstan frame system, both the Standard Front Bumper and the Enhanced Capstan Kit variants must be purchased.
