Installation Notes

- Thoroughly clean both mirror housings with an isopropyl alcohol wipe or panel wipe solution. Ensure all wax, polish residue, and dust are removed before proceeding.
- Allow the cleaned surface to dry fully — typically 2–3 minutes at room temperature. Do not apply covers to a damp surface.
- Dry-fit each cap cover to its corresponding mirror housing to confirm correct orientation and alignment before committing to adhesion.
- Peel the protective backing from the pre-applied double-sided adhesive tape on the inner surface of each cap cover.
- Align the cap carefully over the mirror housing, starting from the front edge and pressing firmly rearward to seat the cover flush against the housing surface.
- Apply firm, even pressure across the entire surface for 30–60 seconds to ensure full adhesive contact and a secure bond.
- Allow a minimum of 24 hours before washing the vehicle or exposing the adhesive bond to sustained water pressure.
⚠ Important: Surface preparation is the single most important factor in adhesion quality. Applying over waxed, oily, or dusty paintwork will significantly reduce bond strength. For best results, apply in ambient temperatures above 10°C (50°F). Avoid installation in direct sunlight on a hot surface.
